About
Stacey is a research and strategy development consultant with over 19 years of experience as a research scientist for Duke University and as an independent consultant for international development organizations.
I conduct custom research for international agencies, country governments, and firms that provides an in-depth analysis of the global, regional, and local landscape of industries and sectors. This information is used to answer the client’s specific interest (topic) which is often to identify where opportunities exist within the value chain and to provide recommendations on how to improve competitiveness and overcome barriers. The research process involves secondary research (market reports, journals, news articles, industrial data) and primary fieldwork. Unlike many other development consultants, I conduct my own fieldwork. I’ve worked on projects in five continents and conducted fieldwork in over 40 countries.
