National Strategy for Healthcare Manufacturing in Oman

UNIDO supported a multi-year project focused on the health and medical device industries in Oman. In this second phase, I developed a national strategy for the healthcare manufacturing industry in Oman. 

• Reviewed Oman's Strategy 2040 and market research to identify the key challenges to developing new industries in Oman with a particular focus on investment attraction.
• Interviewed government and related institutions in Oman. Presented and discussed ideas with strategy and technical team in Oman.
• Identified and developed a set of policy measures to help develop the cluster in Oman. Prepared a report including the main actionable measures considered necessary to build the healthcare industry.
